Leading up to my appointment I had driven by, seen cars boasting the EAG logo, read reviews, etc... I spoke with Colin prior to my appointment and explained I was having an intermittent issue that I wanted to have them diagnose. As a service advisor myself I was very appreciative of Colin's thorough communication and friendliness. After a day they were not able to duplicate the issue which I suspected, I came by and was able to get the car to act up - which is no problem, I love to help in situations like that. Once the was evident Colin and 3 technicians came out and we all huddled around the car looking for areas of concern. I left them to it as this is what I brought the car to them for. Later that day I got a call and was told that my car was “too heavily modified” to have the work done there and that I would need to take it to a performance shop to have any repair work done. My car has a stage 2 tune with flex fuel to accept e85 (a cheaper alternative to 93 in this economy that happens to give performance gains) a charge pipe, down-pipe, fresh air intake inlet, gen. 2 OEM high pressure fuel pump and an air filter. If there are cars going around racetracks, your promoting a racetrack in development and you have your logo on the side of cars that are more heavily modified than my own - then why refuse to work on it? I was hoping to use EAG as my go-to for repairs on this car as I have trust issues with some other facilities and I thought seeing the cars that I’ve seen and the very impressive background of the owner Mr. DeFrancisco - not to mention the articles he’s featured in. I guess not, which I am extremely disappointed with. Maybe consider taking Motorsports off the aign?

Factory race cars, which we may work with, are built with different specifications and standards than modified gas engine vehicles, like those with aftermarket upgrades such as yours. We strive to offer the best service for vehicles that align with our expertise and capabilities. Unfortunately, due to the specific modifications on your car, we felt that a performance shop would be better suited to address your needs. We value transparency in our recommendations, and in this case, it was important to point you to a specialist who could deliver the results you deserve. Thank you again for considering us. Bought a used Audi Q7 and this was my first experience at EAG for an oil change. Called them on Tuesday afternoon to schedule for oil change and got an appointment Wednesday morning. People were professional and friendly, as well as very helpful. Looking forward to working with EAG for any/all future maintenance on this vehicle.

So I went in for a turbo change. One. They didn’t replace it properly and VW had to fix the job I paid for. Two. They broke multiple parts claiming it was a coincidence. Three. What they wanted to charge me for one brake line replacement (that they broke) VW fixed 5 parts that were miraculously broken after they did there inspection. I recommend just going to the dealer. Four. When asked if they had my parts that they removed and didn’t put on I didn’t get a response. Overall this is the worst shop I’ve ever walked into. I grew up in a garage and know things about vehicles and they wanted to act like I was stupid and even stated I didn’t know anything.

Katherine, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We take all reviews seriously and aim to provide clear and detailed responses. We'd like to clarify what happened during your visit. When your vehicle arrived, our technician inspected it and found a check engine light illuminated. After diagnosing the issue, we discovered a "boost control position sensor range/performance" code. The waste gate is integrated into the turbocharger, requiring a full replacement. We recommended changing the turbocharger, oil and coolant feed and return lines, exhaust downpipe gasket, and turbo manifold gasket, which you approved. Once the turbocharger was replaced, our technician was finally able to drive the vehicle (it was not drivable when it arrived) and found the brakes to be soft. Upon further inspection, we found a brake line leak caused by a slice or wear mark. We never use a grinder on any part of our customers' vehicles, and we denied causing any damage. You chose to tow the vehicle out instead of having us repair the brake line. Regarding your concerns about our work quality, we stand by the fact that all work was performed correctly by our factory-trained master technicians and is backed by our 3-year/36,000-mile nationwide warranty. We’re sorry if there was any confusion about your removed parts and we would have been happy to address any concerns if given the chance.
